We have carried out our own Fire Risk Assessment every year since we opened for business and put a copy in our house folder for you to see, should you wish.  

We are currently updating our written records to now meet the new rules on recording a Fire Risk Assessment for all holiday lets that became law on 1st October 2023.

When we have done this, we will amend the information in the houses and put a copy of each on here too.

The main changes we need to make are to ensure you can exit all doors from both houses without the use of a key.  

We are putting additional smoke alarms into the bedrooms in Driftwood Corner as well as on the landing.  

We are also going to make sure all the doors in Driftwood Corner are a good fit in their frames so they protect the main stairs escape route.

We are working to a deadline of having made all these changes by December 2023.  In the meantime if fire risk is of a concern to you please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions.
